UNLV faculty are engaged in leading student learning through a variety of methods, including fully online and hybrid (or blended) courses. Online Education (OE) develops courses following best practices of several associations, including the use of Quality Matters. Doing so ensures that students have the greatest opportunity to meet course learning objectives. UNLV's world-class faculty join the OE team in creating a meaningful learning experience.
The OE team of professionals include instructional designers, instructional artists, instructional programmers, and a videographer in the creation of exemplary fully online and hybrid courses.

Teaching in the classroom of today involves real differences that must be considered for student success. The OE team provides current research in effective teaching and learning, scholarship on visuospatial learning, and the emergent learning technologies to extend learning beyond the physical or virtual classroom.
